Torso phantom complete with organs, anatomical skeleton and tissue. Every individual organ has the Hounsfield value that corresponds to that of the human body.
Features:
Synthetic bones with cartilage including skull, vertebrae, clavicles, ribs, breastbone, shoulder blade, hips, thigh bones
Internal organs: brain with ventricles, eyes, lungs with pulmonary vessels (to the fourth bifurcation), windpipe, liver with portal and hepatic veins, kidneys, gall bladder, pancreas, spleen, aorta, vena cava, ureter, bladder, prostate, rectum, sigmoid and ascites. Also, ascites as pathology is standard in this phantom.
In addition to the extensive anatomy, a wide range of pathology is also available.
This phantom is expandable with body plates to simulate obese patients up to a BMI 40.
