The RaySafe ThinX has been specifically designed to quickly measure and immediately display the main parameters, such as dose, dose per time unit, rate, kVp, HVL, exposure time and pulse. All parameters are clearly displayed on the large LCD screen. The ThinX has no operating buttons; the meter is activated by placing it within the path of the X-ray beam.

Different models for various purposes
The ThinX is available in four different models:
Raysafe ThinX RAD
Dose, dose rate, kVp, HVL, exposure time and pulse.
RaySafe ThinX RAD kVp
kVp, exposure time and pulse.
RaySafe ThinX RAD Dosis
Dose, dose rate, HVL, exposure time and pulse.
Dose, dose rate, kVp, HVL, exposure time and pulse for (intra-oral) dental X-ray equipment.
Ease of use
The RaySafe ThinX is very user-friendly as the entire system is fully automated. You simply position the meter within the exposure field. The RaySafe Thinx automatically switches on when radiation is detected and automatically switches off. The minimum battery life is 12 months and no additional maintenance is necessary.
The meter uses RaySafe’s “Active Compensation” to apply corrections to variations in the radiation filtration for both kVp and measuring the dose.
