On 4 April, the annual IPEM Ultrasound Conference was held in York, United Kingdom. Cablon attended together with its British distributor Imaging Equipment.
During the conference, Paul Gape of the NHS Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals Trust held a presentation about his comparison of manual quality measurements versus automated ones. This independent comparison demonstrated once again that automated measurements have much better reproducibility and eliminate the subjectivity of the measurements. Dr Gape observed that the reproducibility of the automatic quality assurance measurements in UltraiQ is 0.1 to 3.4%, a factor of 4 to 6 better than when the same measurements are conducted manually! Dr Gape is the fourth to confirm the excellent reproducibility of automated QA tests with the help of UltraiQ.
